Amber brings over 25 years of diverse health care expertise to her role as a Cultures of Excellence® consultant. She partners with organizations of all sizes to design, implement, and evaluate structures and processes that drive organizational excellence, foster collaborative relationships, and improve outcomes. Her expertise includes nursing excellence designations, transformational leadership strategies, foundational elements of professional practice environments, shared/professional governance models, program management, data analysis, and strategic planning. Amber leverages a detail-oriented approach to support organizations through all phases of Magnet® and Pathway to Excellence® designation. As a highly successful former Director of Nursing Excellence and Professional Development, she is passionate about mentoring program directors and others to enhance their expertise and skills in leading successful journeys.

Amber holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She is board certified as a nurse executive through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds a certificate in Quality and Safety through the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

Amber has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and co-designed a curriculum to enhance core competencies for Magnet® Program Directors.
