Course Overview
These courses use a multimodal cohort approach where participants progress through a series of self-paced modules followed by a scheduled virtual session to deepen competence of the module topic(s).
The courses are offered on a recurring basis to support Program Directors at key points in their journey:

“Facilitating the Journey to Excellence: Program Director Core Competencies™” For Pathway to Excellence® Program Directors (PPDs)
Each course is designed to align with the expectations, structure, and evolving requirements of the respective designation.
What You’ll Gain
Participants will build competency in areas such as:
- Understanding the Magnet® or Pathway to Excellence® framework and requirements
- Leading teams, councils, and organizational initiatives
- Communicating and Collaborating effectively across all levels of the organization
- Coordinating the Journey to Excellence: Application, Document, Site Visit and Decision
- Ongoing Practices and Redesignation Timelines
*Contact hours will be provided for individuals who complete all of the modules, attend at least 70% of the live sessions, and complete an evaluation.
*Creative Health Care Management is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
