Facilitating the Journey to Excellence: Magnet® Program Director (MPD) Core Competencies™

Develop the knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate and coordinate a successful Magnet® Designation.

How it works:

Using a multimodal cohort approach, participants progress through a series of 10 self-paced modules that consist of a combination of assigned readings, videos, and reflection questions. Each module includes a scheduled virtual live session devoted to further discussion and exploration of the topic(s) covered in the module.

Modules open September 24, 2021 and will be completed on participants own time.

2021 live discussion sessions, Fridays 12 pm CT/ 1pm ET (10 sessions):

        • October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
        • November 5, 19 *no sessions during week of Magnet conference and Thanksgiving
        • December 3, 10, 17

2022 post course check-ins, Mondays 12 pm CT/ 1pm ET (3 sessions):

        • January 10

        • July 11
